About Harrisonburg Septic Help
Harrisonburg Septic Help is a free referral service for homeowners in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County, Virginia.
Between the city's five-year inspection ordinance, home sales, and the occasional backup, a lot of people find themselves asking the same question: who do I call about my septic system? We help answer it by pointing you to independent septic companies that serve your area, and by explaining the rules in plain English.
What we are, and aren't
- We are a referral and information service.
- We are not a septic contractor or sewage handler. We don't pump, inspect or repair systems, and we don't quote prices.
- The companies you hire are independent. Each is responsible for its own Virginia Department of Health permits, licenses, insurance, pricing and workmanship.
- It's free for homeowners. We may be compensated by participating companies. That never adds to your price, and you're always free to hire anyone.
